Capcom to End New Exoprimal Seasonal Content After Season 4 Ends on July 11

On July 14, 2023, Capcom launched Exoprimal. This third-person sci-fi shooter featured players in heavily armed “exoskeletons” battling waves of dinosaur-like creatures in the near future. The game was heavily touted by Capcom ahead of its release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S consoles. It even launched on day one for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service.

While reviews have been mostly positive, it seems that sales of the game haven’t been as high as Capcom expected. Today, the company announced that it would be ending its planned seasonal content updates for Exoprimal with the current season 4 on July 11th.

In an article on the game’s websiteCapcom said that after July 11, it will re-offer Season 1 content and repeat previous seasons at the beginning of each month. Capcom will also sell Season Passes 1-3. Exoprimal players can get the content they may have missed. More information on the future of Capcom’s content re-release Exoprimal can be found on this page on the game’s website.

Capcom added:

All game modes will remain available. This includes the main Dino Survival mode, as well as endgame content like Savage Gauntlet and Time Loop Rebellion. If you’re playing alone or with just a few other players, Bots (AI-controlled Exofighters) will still be added so you can fully experience the Hammerheads’ story and reach the end.

Although the future does not look good for the sequels of ExoprimalCapcom has major plans for some of its other franchises. This includes Dead Rising Deluxe Remastera new version of its 2006 open-world zombie game that is set to release on September 19. Capcom also confirmed that a new resident Evil The game is in development but details have not yet been revealed.
