Samsung looks back at the history of the Galaxy Buds range, from 2019 to today

Following its infographic focusing on the Galaxy Fold family over the years, Samsung has today released a similar infographic showcasing the evolution of its TWS earbuds, as the second installment in what is becoming the “Galaxy History” series.

It all started with the Galaxy Buds in 2019. The Galaxy Buds+ then arrived in 2020 with virtually the same design and twice the battery life. In 2021, Samsung released its first pair of Pro earbuds, along with the Galaxy Buds2, which looked more like the Buds Pro than the original Buds.

The Galaxy Buds2 Pro were released in 2022, so the upcoming Galaxy Buds3 have been a long time coming. They’ll be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event next week on July 10, and if recent leaks are accurate, they’ll mark a complete design shift for Samsung, adopting a stem style much like Apple’s AirPods.

Samsung says its Galaxy Buds series “stands out from other wireless earbuds on the market with improved sound quality, a comfortable fit, and a smarter sound experience powered by Galaxy AI.”

As for the next generation, Samsung promises to change “the listening experience by delivering comfortable earbuds that deliver quality sound and expand connectivity.” The new Galaxy Buds “will continue to serve as a user-friendly medium,” “allowing users to enter a new world of sound every time they wear their earbuds.”
