Dear Community Members,
In September I’ll be in the market for a new laptop (or even a tablet – Surface Pro 11). My primary use for this future laptop or tablet will be writing/reading, researching/surfing. At the moment I only see two and a half options here: the 15-inch MacBook Air M3 (also based on Paul’s great review), the 15-inch Surface Laptop 7, and the middle option: the Surface Pro 11. The latter device, its versatility to also use it as a tablet, and the use of the detachable keyboard are things I find really effective for my workflow. Although I’m not sure about the smaller screen when I’m spending hours working behind it.
So, have you had a chance to test these machines yet? I’m sure Paul will answer this fundamental question in an upcoming article comparing the MacBook Air M3 and the Surface Laptop 7 (I can’t wait to read it). But instead of waiting for Paul’s article to come out, I thought I’d ask the community as well.
I prefer Word on Windows (because I write in Word), but I can adapt to Word on Mac if necessary.
