Radahn, the promised consort, is a real threat, but several players have already demonstrated that it’s possible to eliminate him from the game in a matter of seconds. One of them is Twitch streamer Ainrun, who over the weekend accumulated an incredible amount of buffs to end the fight the moment it began.
After drinking Wondrous Physick, inhaling consumables like Bloodboil Aromatic, and using abilities like Rallying Standard and Seppuku, the player heads to the boss arena. Then, after using the resolve of the Royal Knight Ash of War to charge up the Tarnished’s next move, the streamer unleashes a fierce charged attack that deals 93,000 damage and removes Radahn’s entire health bar. We almost feel sorry for the boss: as he begins his cutscene to enter his second phase, as soon as it ends, he falls to his knees as he and Miquella disappear, no doubt wondering what just happened.

If swords aren’t your thing, there are other ways to do it. Less than a week after Shadow of the Erdtree’s release, YouTube content creator Titus Actual showed how to take out Consort Radahn in one hit using the Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Strike incantation. Likewise, this requires a massive amount of buffing and prep to actually work—so much so, in fact, that a big part of the challenge is getting them all to spawn fast enough that the first few don’t disappear the moment you enter the fight. To counteract this, Titus Actual had to switch gear upon entering the boss arena to save time.
So if you’ve been stuck on the final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree for a while and just want to finish it, this is definitely one way to do it, although remembering the list of buffs you need to perform can honestly be harder than the normal fight.
