The iPhone 15 comes in five colors, some pale, some brighter. But the Pro versions all come in muted hues, designed to make the most of the new titanium trim. That’s all well and good, but what if you want something a little brighter? A new report claims the upcoming Pro iPhones might have something for you.
This fall, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a new color, called Rose, according to a new report from OvO Baby Sauce. This source is relatively new but is gaining traction, and the claim is consistent with earlier reports, according to MacRumors.
Note that this is pink and not rose gold, which has been an iPhone color in the past, but not yet for a Pro model.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously suggested that the current Titanium Blue color would be discontinued this fall and a new Titanium Pink option would appear in its place. This new report supports that assumption.
It was also reported that the iPhone 16 Pro would use the same color infusion process as the iPhone 15. This resulted in subtle, pale hues – in certain lights, it’s hard to distinguish yellow, green, and blue.
But there is one option that really shines, that really attracts attention, and that is the pink version. In this case, perhaps the pink shade of the iPhone 16 Pro will be just as striking.
By the way, the fifth color of the iPhone 15 is black, which is obviously not a garish shade on any phone.
As for the iPhone 16 Pro series, it’s likely that whatever it’s called, the shades will be different from the current models, even if they’ll only be subtle. Apple likes to update its lineup every year, with subtle changes even if the name stays the same – even the PRODUCT(RED) shades have changed in consecutive years.
It is already rumored that the iPhone 16 series will replace yellow with white, leaving in place the other four shades of black, green, blue and pink.
It is not yet clear how different a pink phone with a titanium strap will be and how frank it will be. We will find out in less than two months.
