The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) will have a major presence at Wire & Gas 2024 in Brisbane to explain the latest developments in the ARCtick licensing system as it applies to the automotive sector.
Wire & Gas will be presented by VASA (Automotive Air Conditioning, Electrical and Cooling Technicians of Australasia) from 23-25 August at its new venue, the Westin in Brisbane.
Rod Cumming, ARC’s General Manager of Compliance and Training, will deliver a seminar explaining ARC’s audit process, including the new Environmental Management Excellence Award.
The new award is given to Refrigerant Marketing Authorisation (RTA) holders who contribute to maintaining professional and environmental standards in a highly regulated sector by being found fully compliant during the first audit by ARC field officers from 1 July 2024.
Cumming will also outline the plan for field officers to visit all new RTAs to check license status within the first year of their license, as well as the new automated license renewal process recently introduced to save time on renewal applications.
ARC will have a booth at Wire & Gas where technicians and business owners can ask the kinds of questions they might not otherwise ask in a more formal manner.
