Bindi Irwin revealed on Thursday she had also caught the Tasmanian love bug after reports suggested her mother Terri would soon be moving to the island state.

The 25-year-old wildlife warrior took to Instagram with a heartwarming family video from her road trip near Cradle Mountain with husband Chandler Powell and daughter Grace.

In the clip, the trio were in heaven as they got tangled in the freezing snow while exploring stunning natural scenes and local wildlife.

“Hello guys, welcome to Tasmania. If you can believe it, Cradle Mountain is behind me, I promise it’s not just a cloud,” Bindi began the video.

The famous environmentalist was all smiles as she stood atop a windy lookout with the mountain in question in the background, hidden by thick mist.

“We want to take you on our road trip to Tasmania. Let’s go,” she added before the clip showed a video montage of her time in Australia’s southernmost state.

Footage showed the Irwins encountering various wildlife including wallabies and wombats, with three-year-old Grace correctly identifying them in one adorable moment.

“It’s a Cradle Mountain wombat,” she said at one point when they met the animal.

She was also heard copying her famous mother by saying “so precious” when she spotted a Tasmanian devil in a game reserve.

At one point, the family of three went on a snowy hike where they created a mini snowman that resembled Olaf from the children’s movie Frozen.

It follows reports last week that Terri Irwin has also fallen in love with Tasmania and is considering moving there.

The 59-year-old is currently enjoying a four-week holiday on the island with her son Robert, daughter Bindi, son-in-law Chandler Powell and granddaughter Grace.

According to New ideaTerri plans to create a local conservation reserve on Apple Isle while Bindi and Chandler take over the operation of Australia Zoo in Queensland.

“Judging by all the luggage, it looks like Terri is already thinking about setting up a more permanent home,” a source told the publication.

“Terri’s vision will see a project similar to Australia Zoo, but with a more traditional animal feel rather than a theme park.”
