The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta dates have been officially confirmed, marking the first time the popular shooter’s beta will be available on all platforms at the same time.
Revealed during the Call of Duty podcast on YouTube (via CharlieIntel), the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta will be available on the following dates.
- Early Access: August 30 – September 4
- Open Beta: September 6 – September 9
For the past few years, Call of Duty betas have been exclusive to PlayStation platforms. Early access to the beta will be available to Game Pass subscribers and those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6. The open beta will be available to all players.
First revealed in May after months of rumors, Black Ops 6 is the latest in the long-running series developed by Treyarch. Activision revealed a wealth of details in June about the multiplayer, zombies, and campaign, which is set in the 1990s. Like other games in the Black Ops subseries, Black Ops 6 presents a paranoid vision in which players are “never sure who to trust and what is real.”
Black Ops 6 has been getting a lot of buzz after last week’s Game Pass price increases, which include a “Standard” tier that doesn’t include day one releases. Black Ops 6 is expected to be available on Game Pass when it launches on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass for Console.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 25.
