It’s only been a few months since a film adaptation of El Paso, Elsewhere was announced, so the game has certainly received the support and recognition it deserved since its debut last September. DeadlineThe film will “center on James Savage, who, while recovering from a toxic relationship, confronts both his inner demons and his enigmatic ex-girlfriend, Janet, before she performs a ritual that will end the world. James navigates her world of ethereal, reality-warping monsters while confronting the truth of his own addictions and warped self-esteem, learning that the only path to love is healing.”
Last year, we gave El Paso, Elsewhere a whopping 9/10 in our review. James said, “El Paso, Elsewhere builds on a solid shooter foundation and elevates it with a compelling, raw look at humanity told through a tale of monsters and mythology. Standout performances, sharp writing, and stunning combat combine to create a unique and memorable experience.”
