Fortnite players may be able to drive Tesla Cybertrucks as part of the game’s next update.
The love-it-or-hate-it pickup isn’t available to buy in the UK, but it’s set to rampage across the Fortnite island soon – if the latest leaks are to be believed.
Launching in late May, Season 3, also known as Wrecked, features weaponized cars that can give you an advantage on the 100-player battlefield.
Tesla’s Cybertruck isn’t the only addition announced in the v30.30 update, with a world of new weapons and a long-awaited new mode.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s next update, including its expected release date.

When will the update be released?
Fortnite v30.30 is set to arrive at 9am PT on Tuesday, July 23 in the UK.
Developer Epic Games confirmed the update’s existence on June 27 in a post on X (formerly Twitter), at a time when leakers had already claimed the developer was testing it ahead of its release.
This could well be the penultimate update for Chapter 5, Season 3 (aka Wrecked). According to Shiina, a major Fortnite news source, the final update of the season will be available on August 6, followed by what is widely believed to be a Marvel superhero-themed Season 4 on August 16.
What’s new in the update?
Epic has shared an image of spray-painted text and tire tracks, which leakers are convinced is the Tesla Cybertruck logo, suggesting the electric vehicle is on the way.
Additionally, Battle Royale is said to be getting a few new weapons and items, including the return of the Minigun and the Med Mist healing spray.
Meanwhile, Rocket Racing could be getting another batch of Rocket League game-compatible items, including the Peregrine TT body, Hasher wheels, Incantor Boost, and Incantor Trail.
Finally, leakers are also adamant: the long-rumored Fall Guys collaboration is coming soon.
Epic owns the battle royale platformer, which was a viral hit in 2021, and is integrating its assets into its Unreal Editor game creation software for Fortnite so creators can make games based on it.
Prominent leakers including iFireMonkey claim that Epic will go further by introducing a Fall Guys obstacle course to Battle Royale.
