It’s time to take another look at Japanese physical cards thanks to Famitsu and, unsurprisingly, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD scared away all other options in its first week.
Nintendo’s latest remaster tops the charts with 88,425 copies sold. Its predecessor, Luigi’s Mansion 3, also returns to the top 10, ranking seventh with 4,438 additional sales last week.
Elsewhere, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continue to show their longevity by stopping last week’s champion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Editionto secure a spot on the podium. And after a strong start, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has completely dropped out of the top 10.

This week’s hardware numbers show a similar story, with the Switch dominating. The OLED Switch once again comes out on top with 30,743 additional sales to its name, comfortably beating the PS5 in second place with 25,301 sales.
Combining all three Nintendo SKUs gives a total of 46,265, while the standard and digital editions of the PS5 total 27,505.
