Jeanneau to Introduce New Flagship Cruiser, New Windshield and Series 2 Refresh
The French boat builder has detailed a range of model modifications that will be launched this year, saying it shares a passion with all those who love the water, accompanying them in their quest for happiness and thrills on the seas and oceans around the world.
“Jeanneau, known for delivering intense experiences and simple pleasures on the water, continues to grow and develop its strategy for the powerboat range, responding to all the ways of loving the sea,” he said.
“In 2025, Jeanneau will capitalize on the positioning of its world-renowned product lines.”
Among the models that have caught Jeanneau’s attention are the Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2, the flagship versions of the Cap Caramat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA, as well as a new flagship coupe, the Merry Fisher 1295 Coupé.
Merry Fisher 895 Sport Series 2
The second generation version of the Merry Fisher 895 Sport, the largest of the three models in the Merry Fisher Sport range, brings significant changes to its below deck comfort with two separate berths.
According to Jeanneau, the owner’s cabin features a new sliding door, allowing direct access to the hanging clothes locker and a fixed double berth.
At the same time, the bathroom is optimized to integrate a comfortable and practical vanity space.
At deck level, the interior galley has been moved aft, closer to the cockpit and outdoor living space.
Jeanneau says it paid “special attention” to the materials used inside the lounge area, including Corian countertops and a new gray walnut wood laminate that offers a higher quality fit and finish.
The Merry Fisher 895 Sport will make its international debut at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Merry Fisher 1295 Coupe
After introducing the flybridge version in 2022, Jeanneau has finally added a low-roof coupe version of its flagship Merry Fisher 1295 outboard-powered pocket cruiser.
According to Jeanneau, the new coupe model moves the Merry Fisher Weekender range upmarket.
“This model was highly anticipated in many regions of the world, where there is less sun or with size constraints for cruising,” he explains.
“It has all the key assets of the range: versatility, modular design, space and clever fittings.”
The new coupe model appears to have the same interior layout as the flybridge version, as well as electronically lowered side terraces that significantly improve cockpit space.
Options include a joystick control system linked to the three 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards that power it, a gyroscopic stabilizer to minimize pitch and yaw at rest or underway, air conditioning and a generator.
The new Merry Fisher 1295 Coupé will make its debut at the Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle, France in October.
Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA
Jeanneau will modernize the two flagship walkaround models in its Cap Caramat range by adding the option of a windshield that extends to the hardtop.
“This version is designed to combine high-speed cruising with unprecedented protection against wind and bad weather,” says Jeanneau.
“This very protective boat offers particularly high cruising comfort.
“Each model has an efficient ventilation system, with opening porthole or integrated air vents.
“Behind the windshield, the pilot and co-pilots can feel the sea breeze and feel closer to nature while remaining fully protected.”
Jeanneau says the Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA will also receive some styling changes, including a change in the color of the exterior galley doors to white, a chrome logo on the seats and black handrails.
The interior of the Cap Camarat 10.5 WA and 12.5 WA will also feature a new sand oak wood finish.
The two new models will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in October 2024.
