July’s PlayStation Plus add-on titles appear to have leaked

My old friend Billbil-kun at Dealabs is back on the PlayStation Plus leak wagon, it seems, dropping a juicy chunk of the list of games supposedly coming to Extra and Deluxe tier subscribers this month.

The leaked list includes some very decent titles, including the excellent 2022 remaster Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Reunion, with the highly underrated Remnant II and No More Heroes 3 also among the lot.

Here’s what billbil-kun claims are some of the games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra in July 2024:

  • Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Homecoming
  • Remainder II
  • Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Enhanced Edition
  • Mount & Blade II: Lord of Banners
  • More Heroes 3
  • Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition

It’s speculated that the original Remnant: From the Ashes will also be part of the drop, but that’s less confirmed than what’s above, and an official announcement with the full list should arrive at some point today.

I gave Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII Reunion a whopping 9/10 in my original review, saying: “Not quite a remake, but well beyond what you’d expect from a remaster, Crisis Core Reunion is exactly the kind of respectful, carefully crafted re-release that fans of the original deserve. Not everything is as good as the 2008 iteration, but there are enough updates that it hardly matters. Whether you managed to pick it up on the PSP or are diving into it for the first time, this is without a doubt the best way to experience the excellent Final Fantasy VII prequel.”
