Serious gamers can be very demanding when it comes to the performance, comfort, and reliability of their mouse. A truly capable gaming mouse should offer exceptional wireless performance, low latency, precise control, low weight, and perfect synchronization with the player’s movements.
To address this need, Logitech has developed its new G309 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse. This premium mouse features six programmable buttons and scroll wheels, dual wireless connectivity, a 25K tracking sensor, and a redesigned ergonomic shape.
The G309 Lightspeed mouse leverages Logitech’s flagship technologies, including the company’s HERO 25K sensor and compatibility with Logitech’s Powerplay technology and Lightspeed wireless connectivity. All of this comes in a mouse with a new, more affordable price point.

The G309 Lightspeed mouse can be used with or without an AA battery. With the optional Logitech G PowerPlay wireless charging system, the 18g AA battery can be removed, making the G309 even lighter and more agile.
This new gaming mouse is equipped with a power-efficient 25K DPI HERO sensor. A single AA battery can power the G309 for over 300 hours with a 1ms report rate. Switching from Lightspeed connectivity mode to standard Bluetooth doubles the G309’s battery life to over 600 hours.
Despite all its innovative technology, the Logitech G309 Lightspeed isn’t particularly heavy or bulky. Weighing just 86g with a battery installed, the G309 can be removed from its battery when using PowerPlay, bringing its weight down to just 68g.

Lightspeed wireless technology is ideal for high-level gamers and ensures that the G309 is faster than most wired mice. By combining Lightspeed with the Logitech G HERO 25K sensor, the G309 delivers up to 25,600 DPI without acceleration or smoothing.
Lightspeed can connect two devices with a single receiver using G Hub’s Device Pairing tool. Gamers can use the G309 Lightspeed mouse with the same receiver as their Logitech gaming keyboard, including the recently launched Logitech G515 TKL Lightspeed Gaming Keyboard.
The G309 features hybrid optical-mechanical switches that are fast, reliable, and accurate. These Lightforce switches use galvanic contact parts that function like mechanical switches to provide satisfying tactile feedback. The optical and mechanical triggers used on the switches are reliable and have ultra-low latency optical actuation.
