Mediahub appointed as Arla Foods NZ media partner

Mediahub, Arla Foods’ Australian media agency of record, has been selected as the strategic media partner for the company’s New Zealand arm.

The announcement:

Global dairy cooperative Arla Foods has appointed Mediahub as its strategic media partner in New Zealand. Mediahub has been Arla Food’s media agency of record in Australia since 2022.

The expanded Mediahub mandate will enable the delivery of a full funnel, planning and buying strategy across all channels for Arla’s brands in New Zealand.

Mediahub ANZ CEO Sue Squillace said the appointment further reinforced the strength of Mediahub’s trans-Tasman offering and its ability to build strategic partnerships with global brands despite their location.

Squillace said: “We could not be more excited to extend our strategic partnership to New Zealand and look forward to being part of Arla’s ambitious growth journey across all of its iconic brands on both sides of the Tasman.

“Arla Foods joins a growing list of customers who are seeing the benefits that Mediahub’s trans-Tasman model brings to their business, including New Balance and Bosch.”

Marion Roberts, Managing Director of Arla Foods Australia and New Zealand, said: “Our relationship with Mediahub has gone from strength to strength, they have demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding our consumers and brands and have consistently delivered integrated campaigns for Castello Cheese and Lurpak Butter.

“We look forward to seeing the benefits of this thinking translate into our business in New Zealand.”

Hugo Winter, Managing Director of Mediahub New Zealand, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Arla Foods as a founding client at Mediahub New Zealand and to support our Australian counterparts in bringing their local expertise. We look forward to working with Mai and her team to deliver exceptional media solutions that will help them grow their already iconic Lurpak and Castello brands.”

Strategy and planning are already underway and the first campaign is expected to hit the market in early 2025.
