Nocs Design, the Swedish studio renowned for their handcrafted audio accessories with an emphasis on minimalism, have introduced their latest wireless speaker, following on from the popular handcrafted Monolith speaker. The Nocs Monolith Aluminium speaker is a testament to their meticulous craftsmanship and is the result of extensive research to eliminate the use of recycled plastics.

According to founder Daniel Alm, the result is a speaker made from a single block of CNC-machined aluminum, giving it a sophisticated appearance. Notably, the speaker is fully recyclable, demonstrating Nocs’ commitment to sustainability.
Daniel Alm mentioned that a lot of time and effort was invested in achieving perfect symmetry for the positioning of the speaker in the anodized aluminum housing. For Nocs, minimalism is more than just a buzzword. The design refrains from using logos, emphasizing the finesse of the solid aluminum form.
This speaker stands out in the product range, positioning itself between the Mini and the Monolith. Furthermore, as a cradle-to-cradle consumer product, it is fully repairable and has easily replaceable parts, underlining its commitment to sustainability.
The grilles, positioned just above the five precisely placed drivers, deliver rich, wide sound in any room. Daniel Alm fine-tuned the sound signature in collaboration with musicians and DJs, ensuring that the speaker will satisfy even the most demanding audiophiles. This collaboration aims to create a “deep connection between artist and audience.”
