Hello Strands fans. I’ve really been working hard. I was convinced that the theme “A Place at the Table” meant that today’s puzzle would be about types of chairs – something I’m not an expert in.
After stammering for a while, I used a hint that revealed FORK, and I kicked myself. Sure enough: they were table pieces!
With the FORK uncovered, it didn’t take me long to bag the rest. I found the SPOON to its left and the NAPKIN below it. The KNIFE was in the bottom left corner and the PLATE was in the top left corner.
I had now opened a nice path to easily decode the spangram: PLACESETTING.
There were only two words left to find, both isolated from the other letters. I first found SAUCER in the top right, and all I had left to decode was GLASS on the left.
