If you are interested, hurry up: You must register for the beta versionwhich requires Apple’s TestFlight system, limiting registrations (to 8,000 testers, in this case). Opera will email you if you’re accepted.

Opera features a new, clean, modular user interface with an address bar at the bottom that automatically hides when you start scrolling. There are three navigation styles (standard, quick action button, and address bar at the bottom). Opera has replaced the old news feed with a start page carousel with news feed highlights, live sports scores, and other information. It offers swipe search with search suggestions, built-in ad and tracker blockers, and a free VPN. Of course, it includes Aria, Opera’s built-in AI companion to the browser. You can use the generative AI to create images for free.

Opera plans to ship this new version of its mobile browser for iPhone and iPad in stable form and with additional new features later this summer.
