Proton Pass adds secure links

Proton Pass paying customers can now securely share their passwords with anyone using a new Secure Links feature.

“At Proton Pass, our goal is to equip users with all the tools needed for robust security,” Son Nguyen, Product Manager of Proton Pass, says“With Secure Links, sharing passwords becomes as simple as sending a link, without sacrificing security. Combined with vault sharing, Proton Pass not only improves user security, but also simplifies the user experience, increasing productivity.”

Proton Pass Secure Links require a paid Proton Pass account, but sharing works on any device and with those who don’t use Proton Pass. Secure Links are unique and can be configured in a variety of ways to control access. For example, you can determine how many times a link can be accessed before it stops working. They can also be set to automatically expire in periods ranging from one hour to 30 days. If you change a password shared via a Secure Link, the link will also be updated automatically.

Secure Links is coming to Proton Pass on all platforms: Windows, Mac, Web, Android, iPhone, and iPad.
