In terms of protagonists, there is really no one better than Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2That’s why it’s criminal that we probably won’t see him again in Red Dead Redemption 3 because even Roger Clark considers his story to be over.

But don’t worry, because even though Arthur Morgan won’t be reappearing in any Rockstar Games projects in the near future, he will I will return as your US history teacher.
Roger Clark has lent his voice to the next book The Story of Red Dead: A Video Game, an Obsession, and America’s Violent Pastand I will read it all to you as Arthur Morgan himself.
The book will address true American history and explore how it has shaped various works of fiction, including Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption series.
But at its core, the book is meant to show just how violent the Old West can be, and commend Rockstar for bringing this part of American history to life in such a detailed and memorable way.
Gamerant managed to get a exclusive excerpt from the book including its opening chapter, which includes six minutes of narration by Roger Clark.
It sounds fantastic, and we’d rather have no one else but our favorite outlaw take us on this historic journey.
The Story of Red Dead: A Video Game, an Obsession, and America’s Violent Past is available for pre-order now and will be released worldwide on August 6th.
You can purchase either a hardcover edition or the audiobook version depending on your preference, although we’d definitely go for the one featuring the Red Dead Redemption character.
