Samsung opened pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in India last week. In a week, the company has announcement that its new foldable phones have received record pre-orders. This is great news for the company as it shows that more people in India are now willing to spend money on foldable phones.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 pre-orders are 40% higher in India
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 have received 40% more pre-orders in India than their predecessors. Samsung revealed these numbers through its official press room post. The new foldable phones are now the company’s most successful Galaxy Z series devices to have been launched in India.
Pre-orders for these devices began in India on July 10, 2024, the same day Samsung announced them globally. According to Samsung, all Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 sold in India are manufactured at the company’s factory in Noida, India.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 price in India
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at INR 109,999 (~$1,320) for the 256GB version and INR 129,999 (~$1,460) for the 512GB version. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is priced at INR 164,999 (~$1,980) for the 256GB version, INR 1,76,999 (~$2,120) for the 512GB version, and INR 200,999 (~$2,410) for the 1TB version.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has an improved main camera (50 MP), brighter displays (1,600 nits Cover Display and 2,600 nits Main Display), a faster processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy), more RAM (12 GB), and a larger battery (4,000 mAh).

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 features brighter displays (2,600-nit cover screen and main display), a newer and faster processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy), and a new 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor.
Both phones feature stronger frames made of upgraded Armor Aluminum, sleeker and thinner designs, and new Galaxy AI features. They both run One UI 6.1.1 software based on Android 14 and will get seven major Android OS updates.
