Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip6 will be officially unveiled next week, on July 10, at the company’s big Unpacked event in Paris. Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, recently revealed a series of official-looking promotional images, showing off the device in all its glory.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor.
Previous leaks have pointed to a 6.7-inch 1080×2640 Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.4-inch 720×748 Super AMOLED cover display.
It will be powered by the Galaxy S8 Gen 3 Snapdragon chipset, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. It will have a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultrawide that looks identical to last year’s Flip5.
Speaking of which, the 10MP selfie sensor also remains unchanged. The Flip6’s dimensions and weight are said to be identical to its predecessor, but it would somehow manage to fit in a larger 4,000mAh battery.
Overall, this looks like a fairly minor update to the Flip5, with a higher-resolution and likely better main camera and an 8% larger battery.
