Starfield Player Discovers Hidden Game Mechanic 10 Months After Launch

Despite its release in 2023, Star field always offers new discoveries to players.

A Reddit One user posted a clip showing them (in a modded ship) drifting due to the sun’s gravitational pull, a feature that has remained extremely well-hidden since the game’s launch late last year, and has not been announced by developer Bethesda.

Several commenters were shocked by this revelation, and many didn’t even realize that stars actually have a gravitational pull. This is especially interesting to consider, as you can’t just fly around and land on a planet without going through a series of menus first, so this level of attention to detail is incredible to see in the game.
