B2B News | At the Eurobike trade fair, held at Messe Frankfurt from July 3 to 7, T&D presented two electric motorcycles and six components in collaboration with its sister company Bafang. The range presented included FE01 and FE02 off-road powertrains installed in prototype motorcycles from the Cheerdmoto and SWM brands.
The featured motorcycle features a variety of components designed by T&D, which work together to form an integrated and efficient electric motorcycle powertrain. These components include the motor, battery, controller, HMI, VCU, charging unit, connectors, DCDC converter and wiring harnesses, all designed and produced by T&D. Each combination of these components forms a complete drive system that can be adapted to different usage situations, providing riders with optimal performance and simplifying the development process for electric motorcycle manufacturers.
FE01 All-Terrain System
The powertrain is designed to be lightweight, compact and durable, allowing it to meet the rigorous demands of track driving with impressive power and responsiveness. It can go from 0 to 50 km/h in just 1.26 seconds, reach a top speed of 85 km/h and conquer slopes of up to 30 degrees.
FE02 All-Terrain System
The Binsen, created by SWM, is their first electric motorcycle equipped with a custom-designed lightweight powertrain and coaxial motor. Its handling is easy to manage and includes limiting functions to ensure the perfect balance between performance, safety and fun. It can go from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, has a top speed of 80 km/h and can handle climbs of up to 25° without any problem.
