Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the release of the Galaxy Watch FE[1]a new addition to the Samsung smartwatch lineup designed to extend Samsung’s advanced and holistic wellness experience to even more users. Incorporating breakthrough hardware performance and advanced health and fitness monitoring features[2] The Galaxy Watch FE is a smartwatch that combines elegant design and durability. This new smartwatch is ideal for those who want to start their journey towards improving their overall well-being with comprehensive insights.

The Galaxy Watch FE, available in 40mm size, offers a refreshed look and feel based on the iconic Galaxy Watch series design. It is available in three colours – black, rose gold and silver – with new watch straps[3] Featuring distinct blue and orange stitching, it enhances the design and offers a stylish device that complements any look. Additionally, the Galaxy Watch FE offers a variety of new watch faces that allow users to personalize their watch, while the one click band also makes it easy to change bands to mix and match to suit their style. The Galaxy FE features a Sapphire crystal glassoffering superior durability, which provides users with protection against scratches during daily use.
Make every day healthier and more motivating
Equipped with Samsung’s advanced BioActive sensor, Galaxy Watch FE offers a range of powerful fitness and wellness features that provide personalized, actionable insights around the clock. To help promote better sleep for a healthy start to each day, Galaxy Watch FE offers a variety of advanced sleep features[4]from sleep monitoring to sleep coaching[5] and help create an environment conducive to sleep[6]. Additionally, users can monitor their overall heart health with a suite of heart health monitoring features. Galaxy Watch FE offers HR alert to detect abnormally high or low heart rates and irregular heart rhythm notification (IHRN)[7] feature to proactively monitor heart rhythms suggestive of atrial fibrillation (AFib). Additionally, users can better understand their heart health by monitoring their blood pressure[8] and ECG[9].
Users can follow more than 100 different workouts with their progress directly from their wrist. For runners, advanced race analysis helps users not only analyze overall performance to maximize efficiency, but can also provide insights and tips to help prevent injuries so they can continue to progress toward their goals. For a more optimal running experience, Custom Heart Rate Zone[10] helps users set their own goals based on their physical abilities.
The Galaxy Watch FE helps users achieve their health goals and stay motivated. BComposition of the ody[11] provides comprehensive body and fitness data as indicators to track progress. Additionally, users can receive motivational messages throughout their wellness journey to continue improving.
As with all Galaxy Watch series, FE delivers seamless connected experiences across Galaxy devices. Users can quickly and easily locate their phone when it’s disconnected from their watch with Find my phone[13]Remotely control your connected Samsung smartphone’s camera with Camera Controller[14] to switch modes, change angles or zoom directly from your wrist. Galaxy Watch FE supports Samsung Wallet[15]meaning users can pay for purchases and access their ID cards such as their driver’s license or student ID on their smartwatch for a true all-in-one digital wallet.
The Galaxy Watch FE will be available globally from 19 June 2024 and will be available in the Malaysian market from 19 July 2024. The Galaxy Watch will be available for purchase online at a price of RM799.
