Information regarding the Huawei Pura 70 series suggests that the flagship lineup has started to adapt to HarmonyOS NEXT. The company has not yet made this development official. But a new contribution has shed some light on this matter, revealing some important details.
As noted by @FixedFocus, the Huawei Pura 70 series has started the adaptation of HarmonyOS NEXT. The tipster says he found developer comments on the official community. It seems that the flagship lineup is close to completing the adaptation.
Huawei unveiled the beta version of HarmonyOS NEXT at the HDC 2024 event. At the same time, the company opened beta testing of the new software for developers on three major devices: the Mate 60 Pro, the foldable Mate X5, and the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet.
Despite the high-end models, the Pura 70 smartphones (not even Ultra) got a spot in this testing phase. Although the official schedule showed that the respective lineup would get the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta in August (next month).
It seems that Huawei has already taken the first step for the Pura 70 series in this area. The adaptation of HarmonyOS NEXT for high-end phones now seems to be underway.

Besides the Pura devices, the roadmap also shows devices like the Pocket 2 series, the MatePad Pro 11 2024, as well as the FreeBuds Pro 3 in the beta list for August. So, the phone maker could soon start the software adaptation of these models.
The Pura 70 series is currently preparing for the HarmonyOS NEXT beta. It will receive the stable version in Q4 2024 as the first batch of devices.
The same informant had already announced that the development of the public beta version of HarmonyOS NEXT has been completed. He has also launched stability tests to check the compatibility of the software with the devices. Huawei may soon start these tests with the Pura 70 models.
