Hello Strands fans. I was sent slightly in the wrong direction on this puzzle by the fact that you can almost make a “burrito” on the left side, if there was an “R” missing.
But even with this slight delay, it didn’t take me too long to write my first words on the board: CHIVES and BROCCOLI, both in the upper right corner.
I had never heard of broccoli as a garnish for jacket potatoes here in the UK, but the chives sent me in the right direction and I duly completed the BAKEDPOTATO spangram in the middle of the board.
CHEDDAR, a much more common topping on this side of the Atlantic, rounded out the right side, and I immediately spotted BUTTER on the left side. This neatly divided the two remaining answers: CHILI to the north and BACON to the south.
All of this made me hungry. Oddly enough, I had already put a large potato in the oven before starting today’s puzzle (even though only one of these toppings will be present…)
