Organisers are encouraging business owners from Queensland and beyond to ‘connect with success’ under the sunny Brisbane skies, Click here to register online.

The leading trade show for the sign, display, printing and graphics industry will take place from July 17-19 and will showcase solutions for signage and displays, large format printing, textile and garment, LED and lighting, manufacturing, routing, laser engraving and cutting, software and workflows.

The organiser says the benefits of trade shows are well established, with the opportunity to see and experience all the latest technologies, compare solutions under one roof and connect with organisations and individuals who can advise on future directions and investments.

Charly Blades, events manager for show organiser Visual Connections, said all this and more would be on offer to Brisbane visitors. She said: “This will be one of the most comprehensive shows we have ever hosted in Brisbane and the response has been excellent, with over 2,000 industry professionals expected to attend over the three days,” she said, adding that registrations were “pouring in” in the usual last-minute rush.

While visitors to the Brisbane show are, as expected, largely from Queensland, northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory, there are entries from New Zealand and other neighbouring countries, as well as a sizeable contingent from ‘down south’, with Queensland’s warmer climate tempting those from cooler climes to make the journey.

“Pre-registrations are in line with our expectations, and numbers are growing rapidly each day as people confirm their intentions and begin planning their visit. We’ve put together some handy online resources to help people make the most of every minute,” Blades said.

In addition to a show floor plan, this includes a comprehensive visitor guide with information on each of the exhibiting companies, links to accommodation and transportation information, as well as dining and activity suggestions.

“There’s a packed programme of short, focused presentations in our new Connections Centre, so you can download the programme to help you plan your days and find out more about things like Try-A-Trade events and Channel Lettering workshops run by Lettertech and BounceLED, which are proving popular,” Blades said, adding that Women in Print will also be hosting a networking event at 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

“As an added incentive, Visual Connections will be offering Visual Impact attendees complimentary parking on Thursday and Friday afternoons during the show. Simply enter the BCEC parking lot between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day and present your ticket at the show’s customer service desk, and we will provide you with a complimentary parking pass,” she added.

Visual Impact Brisbane will take place from Wednesday 17 July to Friday 19 July at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Bank. Roland DG is the show’s Platinum Sponsor, joined by Avery Dennison, Epson, Graphic Art Mart, HP, Spicers and Trotec as Gold Sponsors.

Registration is free for industry professionals – Click here to register online, or Click here to access the Visual Impact website for all the latest information, including the complete visitor’s guide and the most up-to-date floor plan.
